Please visit our “What is CSA?” page to learn more about CSA and if it’s a good fit for you.
There are several options: offer your share to a friend or family member that week; ask to move your pick up to a different week or get a double share the following week if you are a weekly member; or we can donate your produce to Community Hope Center in Cottage Hills, IL.
If you travel frequently, our 10 week flex membership is a good option because you can choose the weeks you would like to receive a box and change your pick up weeks based on your schedule.
Email the farm and we will reach out to your pick-up site coordinator to see if it is okay for you to swing by the following day. Otherwise, we will work with you to see if you can pick up at another location later in the week. We are happy to work with you, however, if a pattern develops, then we will ask you to reconsider your commitment to our farm and it may be best to part ways and refund your balance.
It is no problem to switch your pick-up location and day of pick up! Please email us by Monday evening of the week you want to make the switch so that we can make the change to our delivery schedule and box pack numbers.
You must make every effort to find someone to take your spot and we can also check with folks on our waiting list. Once a new member is found, we will refund your balance.
Yes, but you must arrange to split it with another person or family. We are happy to include the other party on our email list but ask that the share information and payment be under one individual’s name.
If you pick up at the farmers market, you are welcome to swap up to two items from your box for similarly priced items from our stand. Members are also welcome to purchase extra from our stand at the farmers market and receive a 30% discount.
We have several volunteer days in the spring, a pesto event in early summer, U-pick opportunities throughout the summer and a fall harvest festival in October. You may also at any time during the season request to pick up your produce at our farm stand rather than get a box at your normal pick-up site.
You may bring your dog but he must remain on a leash and cannot walk close to the chickens or our produce fields (due to food safety concerns). You must also clean up after your dog.
